Keep track of your emails! The HubSpot Outlook plugin allows you to track your emails and see if they’ve been opened.
Before you begin, make sure you have the correct extension and install HubSpot Sales for Gmail, Office 365, and Outlook desktop.
Once you have the plugin for your HubSpot sales emails, open Outlook and access a particular email from your “Sent items” option from the left dropdown bar.
Once you select the email, on the right side, the email will be displayed. If it has been opened, on top of the email will be a HubSpot automated text box stating “Opened on…” and will state the date on which the email was opened.
Please note: emails will only be tracked if they are sent to an email address that is saved as a contact. To ensure that emails are tracked, save the recipient’s email in your CRM. You can also log emails into your CRM by using a specific bcc or forwarding address.

If I send an email and I want to track, it's quite simple using the HubSpot for Outlook tool.
As shown in some other videos, you can actually by default log and track the email that you send.
And as long as you make sure that's checked when you send the email, you can come back to your sent items in your inbox, and you can find the email that you sent.
And when they open it, you'll see a little header at the top here that will show when they actually opened it.
So that way, you know number one, that it was opened, and also when they actually took the action to open it.
