Adding an Attachment to Deals in HubSpot

Overview

No matter what you’re dealing with, HubSpot’s CRM tools are there to help you ensure agency and customer success. These make it easy to add attachments to a deal.

First, navigate to the deal record you would like to edit. Then, on the righthand side, scroll down to the attachment section. There, you can see all the already attached files on the deal, as well as attach new ones. Click add and then chose between uploading a new file from your computer or selecting an existing file to attach.

If you are going to upload a file from your computer, select “Choose existing.” Then, your computer’s file manager will pop up. From there, select a file and then select to upload them.

Your attachment will then appear as a note on the deal record and on the attachment tab on the right-hand side.

Adding attachments to deals is quite simple to do. You want to navigate to your deal record. You can see that's what I'm looking at here. On the right-hand sidebar, you'll want to scroll down until you find this attachment section.

Go ahead and open up ad. And then if you already have an attachment that you have uploaded into HubSpot that you just want to attach here, you can go ahead and select choose existing. Most likely you have a new attachment that you want to upload, which you can do here and go ahead and upload.

I'm going to go ahead and just select a hotel reservation that I have on my computer. You'll see it comes in as a note and also then the attachment is here, which comes in as a PDF. And I can go ahead and actually open this up here, but that's how you add an attachment to a deal.
