How to Create a Quote in HubSpot

What Are HubSpot Quotes?

An important part of every sales team process made easy by HubSpot. Within your HubSpot instance you can create custom quotes using the quote templates that HubSpot provides or that you create before sending the quote to your contacts and companies. Create and send sales quotes to fit your product or service easily with this RevPartners guide!

To create a quote, want to navigate to the deal record on the right-hand sidebar here. I want to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You'll see a dropdown menu called quotes. Select add. It's going to take you a quote creation wizard. 

If you have a template in place, go ahead and select it here. Otherwise, you can select from a couple of standard options. The quote name, when it expires, any extra notes that you want to appear in the quote. Purchase terms can all show up here. The nice thing is as you adjust all of this, you'll see that the preview will update as well.

You can see as I type sample terms into purchase terms, you can also see it reflected here. If I want to add comments, you can also see here, comments I've shown up here. 

I'm going to go ahead and select next once I have that set up the way that I want it to. You'll see buyer information. You can add another contact to this. You can add a company to it and just make sure that you're sending it to the correct people.

I also can come in here and... Oh, looks like it's going to kick me back. I can also come back in here, make sure that it's the correct information from my side here as well as any company information that I want to include.

Then the line items that were created in another video are showing here. You can also add line items if you have not done so already. Or if you want to add further line items here, you can also see what this total's going to come out to.

Then you can go ahead add signature options, possibly a payment option if you have that set up within your account. Then you can go ahead and review it here. Make sure everything looks okay. 

Go ahead and select create a quote. You'll get a webpage link that has the ability to access your quote. You can copy it directly here, and you also can kick off an email with that quote already included in it. You'll see here that now I have this quote, Dieter test, that has been published as well as the expiration date here. That's how you create a quote on…
